Challenge
Type B Medical Center (SEHA) faced differential settlement due to liquefaction of the strata, areas in Abu Dhabi having geological issues of loose strata and underground cavities resulting settlement causing damage to the structure.
Solution
TCR has been appointed by ASGC for the mitigation of the geotechnical & structural problem. Based on the recommendation of the engineer and available data Micropile & pile caps was used to add the support to the existing structure to avoid the effect in future.
