Challenge
Structural Strengthening such as voids in some areas, slab strengthening. Additional slabs to create raised floor (Loading Bays)
Solution
TCR has been appointed by Client to address the above requirements. Voids were closed with the combination of steel beams, micro-concrete and normal concrete. The nearby structural elements (slabs, columns and beams) were strengthened by section enlargement and CFRP to bear the additional loads. It was a design and build project carried out under the supervision of consultants.
